Job description

As a Warehouse Picker and Unloader, you will be responsible for accurately picking items from a pick sheet and placing them in bins for the packaging team. You will also assist in unloading trucks, handling boxes ranging from 5 to 35 pounds, and organizing materials within the warehouse.

Responsibilities

Pick items from a pick sheet and ensure placement in designated bins.

Maintain a 98 percent accuracy rate in order picking.

Unload trucks manually, handling boxes weighing 5-35 pounds.

Place boxes from shipping containers onto pallets for distribution.

Operate scales and handle materials efficiently.

Maintain organization within the warehouse.

Proficiency in sorting, loading, and lifting boxes.

Experience in order picking and packing.

Skill in scale operation and material handling.

Familiarity with warehouse operations and forklift use.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

No formal education requirements.

Minimum of 9 months experience in a similar role.

Excellent attention to detail and accuracy focus.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Sioux Falls, South Dakota.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $17.00 - $19.00 / hr.
