Job summary

Hudson’s Furniture is seeking dependable, hardworking individuals to join our Distribution Center team in Sanford, FL. This is a hands-on, physically demanding warehouse role where you’ll move, receive, and prepare furniture for customer and store orders.

You’ll work across different areas of the operation, using hand trucks, pallet jacks, and other equipment while keeping work areas safe and organized. Training is provided for the right candidate who shows reliability and teamwork.

Qualifications

• Attendance and punctuality required; shift starts at 6:30 AM.
• Must work safely while maintaining a steady pace.
• Ability to scan, receive, pull, and organize merchandise accurately.
• Experience in warehouse environments is helpful but not required; training provided.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload furniture from trucks.
• Receive, scan, verify, and organize incoming merchandise.
• Pull furniture from warehouse racks for customer and store orders.
• Move and place merchandise throughout the warehouse.
• Assist with organizing and maintaining warehouse racks.
• Verify item numbers, quantities, and labels for accuracy.
• Use hand trucks, pallet jacks, cherry pickers, and other warehouse equipment as needed.
• Keep work areas clean, organized, and safe.
• Move between warehouse departments and assist wherever needed.
• Follow all company safety procedures and supervisor instructions.

Hudson’s Furniture is a second-generation, family-owned company that has been Turning Houses into Homes since 1981. We’re looking for dependable, hardworking individuals to join our Distribution Center team.

This is a hands-on, physically demanding warehouse position where you’ll work throughout different areas of the operation based on daily needs. You may spend part of your day receiving and organizing incoming furniture and another part pulling merchandise from warehouse racks, moving product, or preparing orders.

PAY & SCHEDULE

• $15.00/hour
• Monday–Friday
• 6:30 AM–3:00 PM
• 30-minute lunch
• No regular weekend schedule

WHAT YOU’LL DO

• Load and unload furniture from trucks

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

This is an active and physically demanding position. Team members must be able to:

• Lift up to 75 lbs. independently
• Maneuver furniture weighing up to 300 lbs. using appropriate equipment and/or assistance from another team member
• Stand and walk for extended periods
• Frequently lift, carry, push, pull, bend, stoop, and reach
• Work efficiently in a fast-paced warehouse environment
• Work in areas that may be exposed to changing temperatures and weather conditions
