DHL Global Forwarding in San Diego, CA is seeking a Warehouse Associate to perform receiving, storing, handling and shipping of products while maintaining a safe, orderly warehouse. The role requires alertness to safety and accuracy in daily tasks.

The ideal candidate holds a HS diploma or GED with 1–3 years of warehousing experience, can operate a forklift and pallet jack, and is proficient with MGMS/FSI/Logis/LMMS to process shipments and inventory.

Responsibilities

• Navigate LOGIS Trace and EWMS systems.
• Link inventory data to a HAWB and manage related records.

As a Warehouse Associate you will be responsible for all aspects of warehouse functions including the receiving, storing, handling, shipping and preparing of product for customer delivery while maintaining the warehouse in a safe and orderly fashion.

Key Responsibilities

• Ability to safely operate a forklift and Pallet Jack to load, unload and move freight within the warehouse.
• Efficiently work with the existing Warehouse Management Data base system (i.e. MGMS, FSI, Logis, LMMS or other similar programs)
• Knowledge of and ability to handle dangerous goods
• Knowledge of and ability to handle life science shipments
• Determine proper space requirement for Freight staging.
• Using and navigating the LOGIS Trace (TR) function
• Navigating through the EWMS system
• Linking an FSI Station inventory/on hand/warehouse receipt to a HAWB

Skills / Requirements

Pay Range: $17.45 - $23.26/hr. (Based on Experience)
