Job summary

DHL Global Forwarding is seeking a Warehouse Associate in San Diego, CA to handle receiving, storage, and shipping while ensuring safety and orderliness.

You will work with MGMS/FSI/Logis/LMMS and handle life science shipments, requiring a HS diploma or GED and 1–3 years’ experience. Forklift operation and strong teamwork are essential.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate forklift and pallet jack to load, unload and move freight.
• Work with Warehouse Management databases (MGMS, FSI, Logis, LMMS).
• Handle dangerous goods and life science shipments as required.
• Determine space requirements for freight staging.
• Navigate LOGIS Trace and EWMS systems for inventory control.
• Link warehouse receipts to HAWB and maintain documentation.
• Maintain safe, orderly warehouse conditions.

As a Warehouse Associate you will be responsible for all aspects of warehouse functions including the receiving, storing, handling, shipping and preparing of product for customer delivery while maintaining the warehouse in a safe and orderly fashion.

Key Responsibilities

• Ability to safely operate a forklift and Pallet Jack to load, unload and move freight within the warehouse.
• Efficiently work with the existing Warehouse Management Data base system (i.e. MGMS, FSI, Logis, LMMS or other similar programs)
• Knowledge of and ability to handle dangerous goods
• Knowledge of and ability to handle life science shipments
• Determine proper space requirement for Freight staging.
• Using and navigating the LOGIS Trace (TR) function
• Navigating through the EWMS system
• Linking an FSI Station inventory/on hand/warehouse receipt to a HAWB

Skills / Requirements

• Demonstrates correct understanding of routine aspects of work

• HS diploma or GED required and 1 - 3 years’ experience

Pay Range: $17.45 - $23.26/hr. (Based on Experience)
