Hugger Mugger has been providing high-quality yoga products and accessories to yoga practitioners, studios, teachers, retailers, and wellness professionals for decades. We are looking for a dependable, organized, and hardworking Warehouse Associate to join our Salt Lake City team.

The ideal candidate takes pride in accuracy, works well as part of a team, and understands the importance of getting every customer order picked, packed, and shipped correctly and on time.

Position Summary

The Warehouse Associate supports the day-to-day operations of our Salt Lake City warehouse, including picking and packing customer orders, receiving merchandise, restocking products, maintaining inventory accuracy, and keeping the warehouse clean, organized, and safe.

This position requires strong attention to detail, dependability, and the ability to work efficiently while maintaining Hugger Mugger's standards for order accuracy and customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities

• Pick customer orders accurately and efficiently
• Check orders for correct products, quantities, sizes, and colors
• Pack and prepare orders for shipment
• Receive and organize incoming merchandise
• Restock inventory in designated warehouse locations
• Put away incoming and overstock merchandise
• Assist with cycle counts and inventory audits
• Identify and report inventory discrepancies
• Assist with discontinued products, UPC verification, product weights, and other inventory projects
• Maintain organized shelves, bins, and storage locations
• Identify and report damaged or questionable merchandise
• Break down boxes, remove garbage, and maintain clean work areas
• Follow established warehouse procedures and productivity expectations
• Complete assigned daily warehouse tasks within established timeframes
• Communicate order, inventory, or shipping issues to management
• Follow company safety procedures
• Assist other warehouse team members as needed
• Contribute to a positive, productive, and team-oriented work environment

Qualifications

• Previous warehouse, fulfillment, shipping, receiving, retail stockroom, or inventory experience preferred
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy
• Dependable and punctual
• Able to follow written and verbal instructions
• Comfortable working independently and as part of a team
• Good organizational and time-management skills
• Ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment
• Comfortable performing repetitive warehouse tasks
• Basic computer skills preferred

Physical Requirements

This is an active warehouse position. Associates must be able to:

• Stand and walk for extended periods
• Bend, reach, squat, and perform repetitive movements
• Safely lift, carry, move, and organize merchandise
• Push and maneuver warehouse carts
• Perform physical warehouse duties throughout the scheduled shift
