Job summary

SRS Distribution Inc. is hiring a Warehouse Associate to stock, organize, and manage inventory at Heritage Pool Supply - Richland Hills in Richland Hills, TX.

You will fulfill customer orders, load and unload trucks, and help maintain a safe, efficient warehouse operation. Applicants should have at least 1 year in a distribution or warehouse setting, the ability to lift up to 75 pounds, and basic math skills.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Read, write, understand and communicate in English; bilingual in Spanish may be required in some locations.
• Able to perform basic math in daily tasks.

Responsibilities

• Stock and organize products safely and accurately.
• Pull and prepare customer orders for pickup or delivery.
• Load and unload delivery trucks.
• Count and verify incoming and outgoing inventory.
• Rotate stock and report damaged or missing items.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area.
• Follow company safety guidelines and procedures.

Job description

Position Purpose

The Warehouse Associate is responsible for accurately and safely stocking, organizing, and managing warehouse inventory, fulfilling customer orders, and supporting daily shipping and receiving of orders. This role ensures materials are handled efficiently and safely to support timely customer deliveries.

Key Responsibilities

• Stock and organize products safely and accurately.
• Pull and prepare customer orders for pick-up or delivery.
• Load and unload the delivery trucks.
• Count and verify incoming and outgoing inventory.
• Rotate stock and report any damaged or missing items.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area.
• Follow company safety guidelines and procedures.

Physical Requirements

Ability to lift and handle freight/materials up to 75 pounds continuously throughout the workday. Ability to move heavy products in busy warehouses and/or outdoor yards, using equipment such as forklifts or pallet jacks, and involves active physical work.

Working Conditions

Work performed in a warehouse environment in conditions like noise, hot or cold temperatures. Use of personal protective equipment (PPE) will be required.

Minimum Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Ability to lift and handle freight/materials up to 75 pounds throughout the workday.
• Ability to read, write, understand, and communicating in English and/or bilingual (Spanish) may be required in specific locations.
• Comfortable using basic math in daily tasks.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• At least 1 year of experience in a distribution, fulfillment or warehouse environment.
• Forklift Certification preferred (training and certification can be obtained after hire through company training).
