Warehouse Associate
Overview
Responsible for checking trucks in and out using WMS, managing trailer loading/unloading, forklift and LGV operation, ensuring inventory accuracy, and maintaining a safe, clean warehouse environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Check trucks in and out using WMS.
- Manage trailer loading and unloading, including pallet handling.
- Operate forklift or LGV and handling system.
- Check outbound trailers prior to loading and monitor LGV activity following SOPs.
- Prepare loads for cross‑country shipments and customer requirements.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
- Receive inbound orders into WMS: spring water, resin, corrugated materials, film, labels, UPS deliveries, FedEx deliveries, and water transfer as needed.
- Rebuild damaged pallets prior to restock.
- Process RMA’s.
- Consolidate finished goods storage for maximum capacity.
- Identify, report, and observe quality issues with finished goods and RMS.
- Validate new SKUs in WMS to ensure proper LGV storage and handling.
- Correct LGV alarms.
- Monitor loads and unload finished goods and raw material deliveries using a forklift.
- Maintain pallet storage area; off‑load pallets from trailers and stage for LGV pick‑up.
- Correct product spills.
- Manually pull pallets from production as needed.
- Supply production with non‑inventory items (glue, bags, labels, etc.).
- Load air bags.
- Clear blocked locations in WMS.
- Operate forklift when required.
- Facilitate flow of information between logistics, production, and sales to ensure timely accurate service.
- Test and monitor resin and spring water.
- Coordinate preload activities and inspect trailers to ensure all loads completed on time.
- Check in trucks and communicate loading instructions to forklift drivers.
- Provide correct loading documents/bills of lading and truck seals upon leaving the facility.
- Maintain appropriate records and reports required for daily shipping and inventory control.
- Participate in continuous process improvement and cost reduction.
- Maintain a clean, orderly, and safe warehouse.
- Ensure regular and predictable attendance.
- Answer/make phone calls with proper etiquette.
- Communicate with contacts to ensure loading of trucks on time and troubleshoot issues.
- Coordinate with transportation and production/scheduling to ensure shipments flow in and out of the warehouse on schedule.

Education
- Minimum required: High School Diploma.
- Preferred: Associate's Degree.
Compensation & Benefits
Typical hourly rate: $20.01 – $27.02.
