Job summary

California Closets in Reno, NV seeks a Warehouse Associate to unload shipments, inspect for damage, and organize stock in the company’s database. On-the-job training provided, with a Monday–Friday schedule 7:00 am–3:30 pm and a pay rate of $19–$22 per hour.

Responsibilities include loading product, inventory control, forklift operation where required, and maintaining safety and organization in a fast-paced warehouse. Prior warehouse/shipping experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or G.E.D. required.
• Basic math and organization skills essential.
• Inventory management experience preferred.
• Ability to stand for a full shift and lift 50 pounds.
• Safety protocols knowledge is required.
• Forklift certification is a plus.

Job Description

Our Warehouse Associates unload and unpack shipments of custom cabinetry products and hardware, inspect for damage and correct quantities, report damages or shortages, and enter receiving data into our company database. This position will also prepare and organize received stock for inventory, return damaged products to senders, and monitor inventory levels.We will provide paid, on-the-job training to candidates with the right skill set and a great attitude!

Job Highlight:

• We're located on 8995 Terabyte Dr. Suite H. Reno, NV.
• The schedule for this position is Monday - Friday from 7am-3:30pm with flexibility needed.
• The pay rate for this position is $19-$22/hr
• For some locations, a valid driver's license and the ability to maintain a clean driving record is required.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Receive and put away inventory

• Inspects inventory for conformance to company standards
• Operate a forklift to help move and store inventory
• Stage products
• Inventory control and management
• Other tasks as assigned by the Supervisor

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or G.E.D. equivalent
• Basic math and organization skills
• Inventory management experience
• Ability to work on feet for an entire shift
• Understanding of safety protocols and requirements
• Forklift certification is a plus
• Experience shipping, receiving, or working in a warehouse is a plus
• Experience working with woodworking machines (saw, router, drill press) is a plus
• Able to walk, lift 50 pounds, reach, stoop, stand, grasp, balance, climb stairs, kneel, and crouch
