Job summary

Centerline Communications LLC in Raynham, MA seeks a Warehouse Associate to manage warehouse, inventory, yard and office tasks with 1-3 years of experience. You will work hands-on in warehouse, coordinate with field staff and customers, and support operations at our Raynham warehouse.

The role covers shipping/receiving, forklift operation, material handling, and cycle counting, with regular hours 6:30am-3:00pm and potential overtime. Benefits include medical, vision, dental, and a 401k plan.

Qualifications

• 3+ years' experience in material handling within a warehouse.
• Telecommunications experience desired but not required.
• Possess and maintain a valid driver's license.
• Ability to operate a forklift.
• Dependable, self-starter with a strong work ethic; team-player and punctual.
• Excellent people person capable of interacting with customers and vendors.
• Computer literacy: MS Word, Excel, Outlook, Internet.
• Regular hours: Mon-Fri 6:30a–3:00p with possible OT.

• Follow policies for quality and cost control.
• Transport vehicles to maintenance sites when needed.
• Assist with general office/grounds maintenance as needed.
• Other duties as required.

Job description

The Warehouse Associate will be responsible for all tasks related to the warehouse, inventory, yard and office. He/she will have a hands-on role in the warehouse, & inventory as well as interact with our field employees and our customers. This position will be based at our warehouse in Raynham MA and is for someone with 1-3 years' experience working in a warehouse.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload materials and supplies from trucks
• Assist in staging materials (kitting) for projects as requested
• Perform equipment maintenance checks
• Ability to operate a forklift
• Assists in maintaining vehicle maintenance records
• Manages and executes ongoing cost saving and efficiency initiatives
• Manage effective utilization of equipment and vehicle assets
• Keeps management appraised of any delays, discrepancies, unsafe working conditions, vehicle or stockroom irregularities or maintenance issues
• Maintains a clean, organized and safe stockroom and yard
• Execute various warehouse transactions electronically
• Tracks and cycle count to ensure that stock levels are accurate
• Assists in the deliveries or pick-ups to/from job sites and customer locations
• Responsible for all shipping and receiving functions
• Monitor and confirm accuracy of all material and stock for easy retrieval and verification
• Follows established policies and procedures to ensure quality and cost control
• Ability to transport vehicles needing work to and from maintenance sites.
• Assist with general office / grounds maintenance when needed – ie: schedules sanding, salting, assist in plowing.
• Other duties as required.

Qualifications

• 3+ years' experience in performing material handling activities within a warehouse desired. Telecommunications experience desired but not required.
• Possess and maintain a valid driver's license.
• Ability to operate a forklift.
• Dependable, self-starter with an excellent work ethic; team-player and willing to help wherever needed; punctual and have a good attendance record.
• Excellent people person/communicator who can interact with customers, vendors and in-house personnel.
• Ability to utilize a computer, specifically MS Word, Excel, Outlook, Internet required.
• Regular hours are Monday - Friday from 6:30a - 3:00p with the potential for additional OT.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS AND WORKING CONDITIONS

• Repeated and frequent ability to lift, from floor to above head 50 lbs
• Ability to sit, stand, climb, kneel, bend, lift, crawl, squat, reach and utilize both hands and feet
• Requires the ability to sit for extended periods, stand, bend, walk, communicate via telephone, computer and/or face-to-face contact, vision to monitor, and use basic office equipment such as a personal computer, copier and fax machines regularly during the course of work. Will be required to operate vehicle for Company business. Work is primarily performed in and out of an office environment
• Environmental Conditions exposure is heat, cold, dust, wet, vibration and loud noise

Expected compensation includes $20 to $32 an hour and benefits including medical, vision, and dental benefits, and 401k retirement plan available for eligible employees. Compensation offered may vary depending on factors such as an individual's education, training, experience, skills, geographic location, seniority, merit, and other factors that are job-related and consistent with business need.
