JOB DESCRIPTION

POSITION: Shipping & Receiving COMPANY: One Hour Heating, Ben Franklin Plumbing, & Mister Sparky Electric

REPORTS TO: Warehouse Operations Manager DIVISION: Operations

CLASSIFICATION: Hourly (Non-Exempt) LOCATION: Ramsey, MN.

JOB SUMMARY:

General duties involve shipping and receiving materials and equipment from vendors to the company, and staging materials and equipment for jobs. Adhere to company core values. Compensation is based on hourly pay, with overtime paid after 40 hours. Overtime will be managed weekly and encouraged during peak times to meet staff demand.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

Ø Receive & Stock inventory daily, including floor plan, HVAC equipment, and service parts.

Ø Pull & Stage installation and new construction equipment daily.

Ø Process warranty and return parts weekly.

Ø Package filters and media weekly.

Ø Create purchase orders (POs).

Ø Safely operate forklift to unload trucks and stock warehouse.

Ø Maintain a clean warehouse by emptying trash and organizing trucks and vans.

Ø Send and receive emails, communicate effectively with vendors.

Ø Manage inventory controls, proper ordering processes, and enforce parts procedures.

Ø Maintain vehicle service, run parts to technicians, and operate forklifts and pallet jacks safely.

Ø Lift 40-50 lbs regularly.

Ø Follow safety protocols and company ethics.

Ø Meet or exceed industry benchmarks such as 98% accuracy in job pulling, and maintaining delivery times within 20 minutes.

MINIMUM TRAINING, EXPERIENCE, AND KNOWLEDGE:

Ø Valid driver’s license with a clean record.

Ø Ability to lift 40-50 lbs.

Ø Experience in warehouse or general labor (1-2 years preferred).

Ø Willingness to invest in self-improvement and demonstrate strong communication and technical skills.
