Job summary

QXO is seeking a hardworking warehouse associate to support daily operations at our Raleigh facility. You will load, unload, and move materials, operate forklifts, and maintain accurate inventory records.

The role requires physical stamina, reliability, and a safety-first mindset; Spanish bilingual is a plus. Typical hours are 7am start with overtime possible; occasional weekend shifts may be required to meet business needs.

Qualifications

• Experience operating forklifts and heavy equipment is preferred.
• Commitment to safety protocols and PPE compliance.
• Strong verbal and written communication for customers and coworkers.

Responsibilities

• Operate forklifts and other heavy equipment to load, unload, and move materials in warehouse and yard.
• Work outdoors with exposure to all weather conditions.
• Verify order contents and maintain documentation (pick tickets, inventory count sheets).
• Inspect, organize, maintain, and track inventory.
• Demonstrate a daily commitment to safety and adhere diligently to all safety protocols, while always wearing appropriate PPE.
• Preserve safe and clean work environment including cleaning and painting.

What You'll Do

• Operate forklifts and other heavy equipment to load, unload, and move materials in warehouse and yard

Shift and Schedule

• Full-Time Position
• Monday–Friday.
• Start time 7am until work is done, around 4:30pm
• Flexibility in schedule to accommodate OT and/or weekends based on business needs.

What You'll Bring

• Experience operating forklifts and other heavy equipment; warehouse experience preferred
• Commitment to providing an outstanding experience to customers, vendors, and co-workers through effective verbal and written communication and a customer-first mindset
• Ability to work in physically demanding roles and remain on your feet for extended periods
• Previous warehouse experience preferred
• Ability to regularly lift, push, and pull 65+ lbs throughout the shift
• Spanish bilingual proficiency is a plus
• Reliable transportation to work and the ability to regularly work early morning hours
