Job summary

QXO is looking for a Warehouse Associate to operate forklifts, manage inventory, and support daily logistics at our New Jersey facility. You will load and unload materials, verify orders, and maintain accurate records while working outdoors in all weather with safety as a priority.

The role requires standing for long periods, using scanners and warehouse tech, and a customer‑first mindset. Spanish bilingual is a plus; OT and weekend shifts may be needed.

Qualifications

• Experience with warehouse technology and scanners.
• Spanish language proficiency is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Operate forklifts and heavy equipment to load, unload, and move materials.

• Verify orders and maintain pick tickets and inventory records.
• Inspect, organize, maintain, and track inventory.
• Maintain a safe, clean work environment and wear PPE.
• Adhere to safety protocols and participate in safety training.

What you'll do:

• Operate forklifts and other heavy equipment to load, unload, and move materials in warehouse and yard
• Work outdoors with exposure to all weather conditions
• Verify order contents and maintain documentation (pick tickets, inventory count sheets)
• Inspect, organize, maintain, and track inventory
• Demonstrate a daily commitment to safety and adhere diligently to all safety protocols, while always wearing appropriate PPE
• Preserve safe and clean work environment which includes cleaning and painting

Shift and Schedule

• Full-Time Position
• Monday–Friday.
• Start time 7am until work is done, around 4pm
• Flexibility in schedule to accommodate OT and/or weekends based on business needs.

What you'll bring:

• Experience operating forklifts and other heavy equipment; warehouse experience preferred
• Ability to work in physically demanding roles and remain on your feet for extended periods
• Experience using warehouse technology, including handheld scanners, inventory management systems, and other warehouse equipments/technologies.
• Commitment to providing an outstanding experience to customers, vendors, and co-workers through effective verbal and written communication and a customer-first mindset
• Spanish bilingual proficiency is a plus
• Reliable transportation to work and the ability to regularly work early morning hours
