Job summary

QXO is seeking a warehouse associate to operate forklifts and move materials in our outdoor yard in North Carolina. You will verify orders, maintain accurate inventory records, and keep the site clean while following safety protocols and PPE requirements.

The role involves early morning shifts, customer-first communication, and reliable transportation to site. Bilingual Spanish is a plus and may be helpful in daily interactions with vendors and team members.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Operate forklifts and other heavy equipment to load, unload, and move materials.
• Work outdoors in all weather conditions.
• Verify order contents and maintain pick tickets and inventory records.
• Inspect, organize, maintain, and track inventory.
• Adhere to safety protocols and wear PPE.
• Keep the work area clean and, when needed, assist with painting.

What You’ll Do

• Operate forklifts and other heavy equipment to load, unload, and move materials in warehouse and yard
• Work outdoors with exposure to all weather conditions
• Verify order contents and maintain documentation (pick tickets, inventory count sheets)
• Inspect, organize, maintain, and track inventory
• Demonstrate a daily commitment to safety and adhere diligently to all safety protocols, while always wearing appropriate PPE
• Preserve safe and clean work environment which includes cleaning and painting
