Job summary

Crescent Electric Supply Company in Racine, WI is seeking a warehouse associate to receive, stock, pick, pack, and stage inventory for delivery.

You will operate a motorized pallet jack, load and unload trucks, and maintain accurate inventory while meeting safety and productivity standards.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Ability to meet minimum productivity standards.

Responsibilities

• Receive and put away inventory into stock, pick and pack orders for delivery, load and unload trucks and trailers, stage, sort, and count products, audit, wrap pallets, maintain warehouse, and control inventory.
• Select and pick product in pick modules or floor pick.
• Flex between stocking, picking, loading, and processing as needed.
• Load and unload trucks and trailers by hand or using a motorized pallet jack.
• Receive merchandise on the purchase order off of the vendor packing list.
• Prepare return tickets or warranty materials and record damage of faulty material.

Primary Duties

• Receive and put away inventory into stock, pick and pack orders for delivery, load and unload trucks and trailers, stage, sort, and count products, audit, wrap pallets, maintain warehouse, and control inventory.
• Select and pick product in pick modules or floor pick.
• Flex between stocking, picking, loading, and processing as needed.
• Load and unload trucks and trailers by hand or using a motorized pallet jack.
• Receive merchandise on the purchase order off of the vendor packing list.
• Prepare return tickets or warranty materials and record damage of faulty material.

• High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED).
• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Ability to meet minimum productivity standards.

Physical Demands

• Often standing, walking, bending, reaching, and stooping.
• Occasional sitting, talking, and hearing.
• The use of hands/fingers are often needed.
• Continuous lifting and carrying of 1-20 lbs.
• Frequent lifting and carrying of 21-50 lbs.
• Occasional lifting and carrying of 51-100 lbs. with the assistance of a buddy-lift or a mechanical device.
• Vision requirements for driving equipment and company vehicles include: close vision (clear vision at 20 inches or less), distance vision (clear vision at 20 feet or more), peripheral vision (ability to observe an area that can be seen up and down or to the left and right while eyes are fixed on a given point), and depth perception (three-dimensional vision, ability to judge distances and spatial relationships).
