Job summary

Dakota Premium Hardwoods, LLC is seeking a dependable Warehouse Associate for its Punta Gorda yard. The role involves assisting customers, picking orders, loading/unloading shipments, and operating a propane-powered forklift in a non-climate controlled environment.

Responsibilities include lifting up to 75 pounds, following safety guidelines, and ensuring accurate inventory flow. This is a Monday–Friday day shift with overtime and weekly pay in a true hourly position.

Qualifications

• Prior experience in hardwood lumber and/or plywood distribution.
• Knowledge of picking orders within lumber yard or warehouse environment.
• Ability to load 18 wheeler and flatbed.
• Ability to lift 75 pounds and work in a non-climate controlled warehouse.
• Experience operating forklift (propane 6k lb+ sit down).

Responsibilities

• Assist customers in the lumber yard and maintain a friendly, safe work environment.
• Load and unload shipments and help with truck/trailer positioning.
• Accurately pick orders for daily distribution and restock as needed.
• Operate forklift to move lumber and pallets within the yard.
• Maintain safety, cleanliness, and organization of the warehouse area.

Cabinet Hardware/Supplies and Laminate. Our Punta Gorda lumber yard is seeking a dependable, hard-working, customer service-oriented team player for its Warehouse position. The ideal candidate will have a friendly disposition toward customers and coworkers, solid work ethic, team first and can-do attitude are essential.

Experience, skills, and abilities include:

• Prior experience in hardwood lumber and/or plywood distribution is preferred
