Job summary

Cregger Company in Portsmouth, OH is seeking a diligent Warehouse Associate to join our daytime shift. You will pull, pack, and prepare orders for delivery or pickup, log inventory, and maintain accuracy through audits.

You’ll operate a forklift (certification required), assist in counter sales, handle returns, keep the facility clean and safe, and follow all policies and safety guidelines in a drug-free workplace. Occasional local deliveries may be required.

Responsibilities

• Pulling, filling, packing and setting up orders for delivery or pickup
• Maintain the ability to determine the status of an order at any given time
• Follow any special instructions pertaining to an individual order
• Receive shipments, log into inventory, maintain inventory through audits
• Report any quality or inventory discrepancy issues to the appropriate person
• Communicate positively with supervisors, sales staff, fellow workers and customer to coordinate deliveries/pick-up
• Operate a forklift safely and efficiently, maintain required certification, perform vehicle safety check and report discrepancies to supervisor
• Assist in keeping facility clean, neat, safe and operating efficiently
• Process returns accurately
• Assist in counter sales as needed
• Follow all established policy and safety guidelines in a drug-free workplace
• Present a neat and professional image
• Assist in keeping facility secure
• Maintain proficiency in computerized systems and other technologies as required
• Follow company policies and procedures
• Occasionally assisting with small local deliveries
• Other duties as assigned
