Job summary

PVH is seeking a warehouse associate to support shipping, receiving, and stock management at our Alsip facility. You will receive inbound products, pick and package orders, and operate forklifts and other equipment to move goods safely.

Typical duties include locating stock, staging deliveries, maintaining orderly work areas, and complying with safety procedures. Strong Math and basic computer skills are valued, with up to 1 year of experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Up to 1 year of work-related experience.
• High School Diploma or GED.
• Warehouse experience with PIT equipment preferred.
• Ability to read and follow basic instructions.

Responsibilities

• Align duties with shipping/receiving, process stock, and fill orders from stock.
• Operate manual/powered equipment such as forklifts, order pickers, pallet jacks, hand trucks.
• Receive and put away inbound product to designated location; pick and deliver to staging area.
• Sort and place items on racks or bins according to sequence; maintain cleanliness and safety.
• Follow company policies and procedures; perform other duties as assigned.

Schedule: Monday-Friday (Some Saturdays maybe required) 10:00AM-6:30PM

Starting Pay: $19.63

Responsibilities

• Align duties with shipping and/or receiving, processing incoming stock and materials, picking and filling orders from stock, packing and shipping orders, or managing, organizing and retrieving stock in the warehouse.
• Operate manual/powered equipment such as forklifts, order pickers, pallet jacks, hand trucks, etc.

Essential Job Duties

• Receive and put away inbound product to designated location.
• Pick/pull correct product from the appropriate locations and delivering to staging area/delivery truck.
• Operate a manual/powered equipment to transport product in and about warehouse.
• Sort and place parts and supplies on racks, shelves, or in bins according to predetermined sequence.
• Maintain orderliness and housekeeping of assigned work areas.
• Comply with established company policies and procedures.
• Assumes other duties as assigned.

Supervisory Responsibilities

Not responsible for supervising employees.

Minimum Requirements

• Up to 1 year of work related experience.

Preferred Requirements

• High School Diploma/GED.
• Warehouse, or similar, work environment, prior PIT (forklift, order picker, etc) experience.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

• Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
• Basic computer skills.
• Basic messages communicated orally. May write brief messages and keep simple records.
• Problems encountered are simple, repetitive, and generally solved by clear directions and procedures.
• Follows standard procedures with no decision making involved.
• Uses guidance/guidelines provided by supervisor/manager.
• Assignments/priorities provided by supervisor/manager.

Essential Physical Demands / Work Environment

• Standing, walking, pushing, pulling, squatting, bending, reaching, climbing stairs, balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, or sitting for extended periods of time as required.
• Exposure to hazardous situations, conditions, and equipment.
• Ability to work in cramped spaces or underneath vehicles that may require getting into awkward positions.
• Regular use of personal protective equipment (PPE).
• Exposure to extreme temperatures and high noise levels.
• Periodic travel, including overnight stays contingent on position requirements.
• Lifting up to 75 pounds.
