Job description

American Cruise Lines is a rapidly growing nationwide company seeking a responsible, detail-oriented Shipping and Receiving Specialist for our Portland, OR warehouse. We are looking for a goal-oriented and driven individual who will find exceptional career advancement opportunities.

This person will be responsible for making deliveries to our vessels within a 50-mile radius and assisting with inventory management of the warehouse. Qualified individuals will ensure packages are received and delivered to the end recipient and/or the warehouse. The candidate must have general knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Office, and possess a valid motor vehicle license with a clean driving record. There will also be opportunities to recommend efficiency and process improvements to senior management. Experience with fedex.com and ups.com is preferred.

Responsibilities

1. Making deliveries to vessels at ports within 50 miles of our Portland warehouse.
2. Packaging and shipping warehouse inventory while maintaining par levels.
3. Tracking and confirming delivery of orders and shipments to vessels.
4. Creating shipping lists, packing slips, shipping labels, and other documentation.

Qualifications

1. Valid Driver's License and ability to pass a Motor Vehicle Record check.
2. Ability to work in a fast-paced and deadline-driven environment.
3. Strong organizational and analytical skills.
4. Highly motivated.
5. Ability to lift 55 pounds.
6. Problem-solving skills.
7. Work hours: Monday through Friday, 8:30 am - 5:00 pm.
8. Must be located within a commutable distance of Portland, OR.
