Job summary

Ambassador Education Solutions in Plainview, NY is hiring a Warehouse Associate to join our Fulfillment Center team. You will help fulfill customer orders, receive inventory, stock, pick, pack, and ship goods while delivering excellent service to our clients.The role is full-time, Monday to Friday, with potential overtime on Saturdays.

Requirements include a high school diploma or GED, strong organization, the ability to lift 50 lbs, and the ability to stand and walk for long periods.

Ambassador Education Solutions, a national provider of course materials to higher education colleges and universities, and to K12 schools, seeks a Warehouse Associate to join our hard-working team in our Plainview, NY Fulfillment Center.

Overview of Position:

The Warehouse Associate is a part of an outstanding Fulfillment Center Team responsible for providing best in class customer service to our clients and exceeding client satisfaction by successfully fulfilling customer orders, receiving inventory, stocking, picking, packing, and shipping.

Scope of Responsibilities:

• Work on daily assigned projects in stocking, order picking, order packing, or shipping.
• Assist with other assignments such as physical inventories, cycle counts, QC inspections, and other duties as needed.
• Maintaining a daily clean work environment.
• Work independently under minimal supervision with the ability to communicate issues quickly to the shift supervisor.
• Warehouse experience is a plus, but not required.

Schedule:

• 40 hours a week Monday to Friday with available overtime on select Saturdays.

Requirements:

• High School Graduate, General Education Degree (GED), or equivalent diploma required.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to work under pressure during peak seasons.
• Ability to stand and walk for long periods of time. Engage in bending, squatting, pushing/pulling merchandise, climbing up and down step ladders.
• Must be able to lift and move 50 lbs.
• Flexible to work overtime as required.
