Job Summary
The Warehouse Associate is responsible for supporting warehouse and inventory operations for telecommunications equipment and materials. This role ensures accurate receiving, storage, tracking, and distribution of network hardware, fiber optic materials, tools, and supplies used by field technicians and construction crews. The Warehouse Associate helps maintain inventory accuracy, supports project readiness, service calls, and ensures a safe and organized warehouse environment.
- Receive, inspect, and verify incoming shipments for accuracy and quality.
- Organize, store, and label telecommunications equipment and materials, including fiber optic cable, networking hardware, customer premise equipment (CPE), and installation supplies.
- Pick, stage, and prepare materials for field technicians, construction crews, and project deployments.
- Maintain accurate inventory records using inventory management systems.
- Conduct cycle counts and assists with physical inventory audits.
- Load and unload trucks using forklifts, pallet jacks, and other warehouse equipment.
- Coordinate deliveries and shipments to job sites, offices, and field locations.
- Track equipment assigned to technicians and company vehicles.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized warehouse environment.
- Follow company safety procedures and OSHA guidelines.
- Assist with material returns, warranty processing, and asset disposition.
- Support inventory forecasting by reporting low stock levels and material shortages.

Required Skills & Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required.
- 1+ year of warehouse, inventory, logistics, or supply chain experience preferred.
- Experience operating forklifts, pallet jacks, or warehouse equipment preferred.
- Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office and inventory management systems.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to understand and track telecommunications equipment and materials.
- Familiarity with inventory management for telecommunications or ISP operations.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Must have a valid driver's license.
Physical Requirements
- Ability to lift and move materials weighing up to 50 pounds.
- Frequent standing, walking, bending, reaching, and lifting.
- Ability to work in warehouse and outdoor environments as needed.
