Job Summary

Support and assist in warehouse and storage processes and responsibilities.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Follow company safety standards and report issues.
• Operate forklift to load and unload trucks.
• Stock warehouse and assist in inventory control processes.
• Fill buckets, drums, etc., for customer orders.
• Complete cleaning and maintenance of warehouse and yard.
• Turn on fuel pumps for customers that do not yet have access to pumps.
• Sort and place materials or items on racks, shelves, or in bins according to predetermined sequences such as size, type, style, color, or product code.

Work Environment

• Typically work is performed in a warehouse or yard setting.
• Frequent work around equipment, machinery, and vehicles.
• Exposure to dusty, wet, dirty environments, and fuel and fuel fumes, oil, and grease.
• Work in hot or cold environments.

Physical Demands

• Able to sit and stand for extended periods.
• Move about the workspace to complete responsibilities.
• Climb stairs and ladders, kneel, bend, and stoop.
• Lift up to 75 lbs and move drums up to 400 lbs.

Requirements

• Valid Driver's License.
• One or more years of experience in warehouse operations, manufacturing, logistics, or related fields.
• Strong communication skills, computer skills, and ability to learn company systems.
• Ability to obtain forklift certification.
• Strong customer service skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Three or more years of relevant experience.
• Trade or technical school certification in an applicable field.
