Job summary

Kodiak-Interiors-Group is seeking a Warehouse Associate in Phoenix, AZ. This full-time, manual-labor role focuses on receiving, processing, storing, and shipping inventory according to purchase orders and installation schedules.

You will operate forklifts and pallet jacks, lift heavy loads, and work both as part of a small team and independently to keep the warehouse safe and efficient. Benefits include health coverage and PTO.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • Prior warehouse experience in shipping, receiving, or inventory management.
  • Basic English communication to follow instructions and safety rules.
  • Ability to read safety rules and maintenance instructions.
  • Ability to lift 75 pounds frequently and 90+ pounds occasionally.

Responsibilities

  • Receive, inspect, rotate stock, and stage materials per PO and schedule.
  • Safely operate forklift to move materials.
  • Operate pallet jack/hand truck to move materials.
  • Unload and load semi-trailers and box trucks.
  • Sort, scan, and prepare orders; keep workspace clean and safe.
  • Work as part of a small team or independently.

Warehouse Associate

Full Time Manual Labor Phoenix, AZ, US

Salary Range: $18.00 To $23.00 Hourly

Role and Responsibilities

The Warehouse Associate is responsible for carrying out the logistics of receiving, processing, storing, and sending inventory according to purchase orders and installation schedules.

  • Follow and enable a culture where Arizona Home and Appliance Core Values come to life.
  • Safely, accurately, and timely receive, inspect, verify, rotate stock, pull, and stage all material.
  • Safely operate a forklift (order picker, squeeze clamp, basaloid, forklift) to move materials.
  • Safely operate a pallet jack and hand truck to move materials.
  • Safely move material by hand.
  • Unload and load semi-trailers and box trucks.
  • Use technology to sort, scan, and prepare orders.
  • Clean the workspace as you go and participate with the team in keeping our facility clean, safe, and accident free.
  • Keep up with all training requirements via online technology
  • Associate will be working as part of a small team but should be able to work independently
Qualifications and Education Requirements
  • Have a high school diploma/GED or equivalent education
  • Prior warehouse experience in shipping, receiving, delivery, or inventory management is required.
  • Basic English communication skills required to follow instructions, complete tasks, and maintain workplace safety
  • Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manuals
  • Mechanical skills and willingness to learn
  • Must be able to lift 75-pound objects frequently and 90+ pound objects occasionally
Preferred Skills

Knowledge of safety regulations and procedures.

Additional Notes

This position is based in a warehouse and comfortability in working adverse climate conditions is a must.
