Job summary

TW Metals, LLC, a leading global distributor of Specialty Metals, is seeking an Inventory Clerk for our Orlando facility. You will help maintain stock records, count materials, and support warehouse operations in a fast-paced environment.

The role requires a high school diploma, basic computer skills, and the ability to read measuring devices and use Excel and Word. Experience in metals is preferred, and training on our mainframe system will be provided.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or 1-year certificate from college or technical school.
• Experience in metals industry preferred.
• Effective communication in English (verbal & written).
• Basic computer skills; MS Office (Excel & Word).
• Willingness to learn mainframe internal system.
• Ability to read a tape measure, micrometer, or other measuring device.
• Willingness to learn to operate forklift/side loader and cutting equipment.
• Knowledge of basic math.

Responsibilities

• Counts material in stock and posts totals to inventory records.
• Compares actual inventories to records in Metalware.
• Adjusts errors in computation or count and/or investigates and reports reasons for discrepancies.
• Employees must be willing to assist in other areas of operations as needed.

Responsibilities: Compiles and maintains records of quantity, type, and value of material, equipment, merchandise, or supplies stocked in establishment by performing the following duties:

• Counts material in stock and posts totals to inventory records.
• Compares actual inventories to records in Metalware.
• Adjusts errors in computation or count and/or investigates and reports reasons for discrepancies.
• Employees must be willing to assist in other areas of operations as needed

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or general education degree (GED) or One-year certificate from college or technical school
• Experience in metals industry is preferred
• Effective communication skills which include verbal and written in English
• Basic computer skills are necessary
• Must have experience with Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and Word
• Willingness to learn mainframe program (internal computer system)
• Ability to read a tape measure, micrometer, or other measuring device
• Willingness to learn to operate forklift/side loader and such along with cutting equipment
• Knowledge of basic math skills
