Job summary

Best Cheer Stone in Orlando, FL is seeking a motivated Warehouse Clerk to join our team. You will assist with loading/unloading stone slabs, inspecting orders, and preparing shipments in a fast-paced warehouse environment.

The ideal candidate has 1–2 years of warehouse experience, ability to lift up to 75 pounds, good vision and hearing, and basic computer skills. Bilingual Spanish is a plus; forklift certification is preferred.

Qualifications

• Must be able to lift, push, and pull up to 75 pounds.
• Must pass pre-employment drug screen and background check.
• 40 hours per week; Monday–Friday availability.
• Basic computer literacy and warehouse software familiarity.
• Bilingual proficiency, especially Spanish, is a plus.
• 1–2 years of warehouse experience preferred in stone/cabinet industry.
• Forklift certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload stone slabs and prefab materials safely and efficiently.
• Assist sales and customers in viewing and selecting materials in the warehouse.
• Operate forklifts and other machinery for transportation of orders.
• Inspect incoming and outgoing orders for damage and completeness.
• Pull, pack, and ship orders with accuracy.
• Maintain warehouse cleanliness and safety compliance.
• Undertake additional duties to support operations.

Join Our Team as a Warehouse Clerk – Best Cheer Stone

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Warehouse Clerk to join our team. This position involves a variety of responsibilities related to the handling, inspection, and shipping of stone slabs and other products. Adequate training will be provided to ensure your success in this role.

Key Responsibilities

• Load and Unload: Safely and efficiently handle the loading and unloading of stone slabs and prefab materials.
• Customer Assistance: Assist sales representatives and customers in viewing and selecting materials within the warehouse.
• Equipment Operation: Operate forklifts and other machinery required for the transportation of large orders and heavy products.
• Order Inspection: Thoroughly inspect incoming and outgoing orders, checking for damage, defective parts, and missing items.
• Order Fulfillment: Pull, pack, and ship orders for delivery, ensuring accuracy in quantity and quality.
• Warehouse Maintenance: Maintain cleanliness and efficiency within the warehouse to create a safe and organized working environment.
• Safety Compliance: Follow safety guidelines to ensure a secure workplace for all team members.
• Other Duties: Undertake additional responsibilities as deemed necessary for the smooth functioning of warehouse operations.

Requirements

• Physical Abilities: Must be able to lift, pull, and push up to 75 pounds repeatedly.
• Sensory Skills: Good hearing, vision, and language skills required to operate machinery.
• Availability: Open to working Monday – Friday for 40 hours or more per week.
• Screening: Must pass a pre-employment drug screen and background check.
• Technical Skills: Computer literate.
• Communication: Bilingual proficiency, especially in Spanish, is a plus.
• Experience: 1–2 years of warehouse experience preferably in the Stone & Cabinet industry.
• Certification: Sit-down forklift certification preferred.
