Job summary

HYTORC is seeking a Warehouse Associate to support outbound shipments, inventory control, and internal transfers. The role requires competence with SAP and MS Excel, plus strong customer-service communication to assist the sales team and customers.

Primary duties include processing orders in the SAP system, maintaining inventory accuracy, and ensuring safe operation of warehouse equipment. A valid driver’s license is required and overtime may be needed.

Qualifications

• Two years of prior office/warehouse and customer service experience preferred.
• Must have clean and valid driver’s license.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and basic computer skills.

Responsibilities

• Follow Warehouse Management System processes for outbound sales shipments, including SAP processing.
• Maintain and monitor warehouse inventory levels and communicate issues to supervisor.
• Transfer inventory between locations and track inbound/outbound shipments in SAP.
• Maintain warehouse equipment and ensure safety and good working order.
• Complete tests on tensioning equipment and calibrate manual wrenches, document results in Resolv and Hy-Cal.
• Assist in answering incoming calls or emails from customers or sales team.
• Greet customers and assist with equipment inquiries at pickup, and address equipment questions.
• Work flexible hours and overtime as needed and keep the workspace clean and organized.

General Purpose

• The Warehouse Associate handles duties and responsibilities relating to warehouse functions.

Essential Duties And Responsibilities

• Follow Warehouse Management System processes for outbound sales shipments. Including processing sales contracts in SAP, picking, packing and shipping.
• Maintain and monitor warehouse inventory levels and communicate errors/issues to supervisor for review.
• Responsible for transferring inventory to and from our various locations and tracking inbound and outbound shipments. Process all inventory transfers in SAP.
• Maintain warehouse equipment by performing routine checks to ensure it is safe and in good working order.
• Complete tests on tensioning equipment and Calibration of Manual Wrenches to ensure they are operating within standards, and complete required documentation in Resolv and Hy-Cal systems.
• Backup for Rental/Demo including outbound and inbound processes in SAP and shipments.
• Assist in answering incoming calls or emails from customers or sales team.
• Greet customers, area managers and territory managers for in-house equipment pick-up, and assist with equipment inquiries.
• Ensure all safety guidelines are followed to maintain a safe working environment.
• Flexible and adaptable to changes within the organization.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization standards for warehouse and office.
• Work with Branch Manager to maintain and institute corporate practices and procedures.
• Other duties as assigned.

Education/Experience Required

• Two years of prior office / warehouse and customer service experience preferred.
• Computer proficiency and excellent communication skills.
• Must have high school diploma or equivalent.
• Must have clean and valid driver’s license.

Computer Skills Necessary

• Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office.
• Excel skills are a plus

Physical Demands/Requirements

• Ability to routinely lift 25-75 lbs.
• Ability to perform work with prolonged standing up to 8 hours; frequent bending, stooping, crouching, and reaching.
• Able to work flexible hours and overtime as needed.

Work Environment

• Split between warehouse & office environment.
