Job summary

Cardinal Health in Olive Branch, MS is seeking a Warehouse Operator to support materials handling and product distribution in a warehouse environment. You will follow processes to fulfill orders, perform quality checks, and prepare shipments, while also supporting cross-training and inventory control efforts.

The role requires the ability to lift up to 50 pounds, comfort with working at heights, and willingness to operate a range of material handling equipment.

Qualifications

• Comfort working with heights 20–30 ft regularly.
• Ability to follow direction and change priorities.
• High School Diploma/GED preferred.
• Material handling equipment experience highly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Follow established process to fulfill orders, including picking, quality checks, packing and preparing for shipment.
• Cross-train in multiple areas of the warehouse and participate in projects.
• Perform housekeeping and inventory control tasks and maintain a clean and safe work environment.
• Willingness to operate material handling equipment as needed (e.g., cherry picker, forklift, reach truck, turret truck, pallet jack).

The hourly range listed is an estimate. Pay at Cardinal Health is determined by multiple factors including, but not limited to, a candidate’s geographical location, relevant education, experience and skills and an evaluation of internal pay equity.

What Warehouse Operations contributes to Cardinal Health

Operations is responsible for materials handling and product distribution in a distribution or manufacturing environment. Includes warehousing and fulfillment of materials and products, transportation, inventory management as well as demand, supply and manufacturing planning.

Warehouse Operations is responsible for performing/controlling a combination of manual or automated tasks necessary for the receipt, storage, and shipment of product. This may include functions of receiving, picking, packing, shipping, staging, transporting, storage, delivery, etc. Also responsible for the efficient flow of products from the point of product receipt from vendors to the shipment of products (via prescribed service parameters) to a variety of internal and external customers.

• Willingness to drive material handling equipment as required by job duty. Example equipment in the facility includes order picker (cherry picker), forklift, reach truck, turret truck, pallet jack, and walkie rider
