Job summary

Mancan is assisting an Akron area employer in locating a Warehouse Associate. Shifts run Tuesday–Saturday or Sunday–Thursday, starting at 3am (weekdays) or 4am (weekends) with 8–12 hour days. Pay is $18–$20 per hour depending on experience.

Long-term, temp-to-hire opportunity for the right candidate. Responsibilities include receiving shipments, picking/packing orders, loading trucks, and maintaining inventory accuracy.

Qualifications

• Experience in produce distribution or grocery warehouse preferred.
• Ability to work in refrigerated environments.
• Capability to perform heavy lifting up to 75 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Receive, inspect, and unload incoming produce shipments.
• Pick, pack, and stage customer orders accurately.
• Rotate inventory using FIFO procedures.
• Load trucks for delivery while preventing product damage.
• Operate pallet jacks and forklifts safely (if certified).
• Maintain inventory accuracy through scanning and recordkeeping.
• Follow OSHA, GMP, and company safety procedures.
• Assist with inventory counts and quality inspections.

Barberton Mancan is assisting an Akron company in need of Warehouse Associates. Shifts are either Tuesday through Saturday, or Sunday through Thursday. Shifts start at 3am during the week, 4am start time on Sat & Sun- will work between 8-12hrs daily. Pay is $18-$20/hr DOE. This is a long term, temp to hire opportunity for the right candidate.

Key Responsibilities:

• Receive, inspect, and unload incoming produce shipments
• Pick, pack, and stage customer orders accurately
• Rotate inventory using FIFO procedures
• Load trucks for delivery while preventing product damage
• Operate pallet jacks and forklifts safely (if certified)
• Maintain inventory accuracy through scanning and recordkeeping
• Keep warehouse clean, organized, and compliant with food safety standards
• Work in refrigerated and freezer environments as needed
• Follow all OSHA, GMP, and company safety procedures
• Assist with inventory counts and quality inspections
