Job summary

Fresh Products in Perrysburg, OH is hiring a Production Associate (Shipping-focused) to unload and palletize products and operate warehouse equipment. You will stage material, use scanners, and ensure safe storage while supporting timely order fulfillment.

This role offers a 4-day schedule (Mon-Thu), with two shifts and a shift premium on the 2nd shift, plus health benefits, 401k with company match, and weekly pay.

Qualifications

• Minimum age 18 and eligible to work in the United States.
• Successful completion of a drug screening and background check.
• Ability to thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment and be punctual.
• Must pass Valid OSHA forklift certification; forklift operation experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Receive product and stack on pallet in a timely manner.
• Store and secure material per safe storage and palletizing methods.
• Maintain EVA WIP area clean and stocked.
• Safely operate forklift and warehouse equipment.
• Interface with computer, scanner, and shipping software; use case sealer.
• Work up to 12 hours, including day/evening/night/weekend shifts.
• Attend daily at assigned location and stage material for delivery.

Position Overview:

The Shipping associate is responsible for unloading packaged product off the line and properly stacking them on pallets; lifting freight and other objects of various shapes, sizes and weights; safely operate heavy equipment; safely walk, reach (including above your head), bend, climb, push, pull, twist, squat & kneel as necessary to perform the job duties. Properly stage, store and handle material in the appropriate areas and complete paperwork with attention to detail.

Schedule Options: Work 4 Days, Enjoy 3 Days Off (10-hour shifts)

• 1st Shift: 6:30AM to 5:00PM, Monday to Thursday
• 2nd Shift: 5:00PM to 3:30AM, Monday to Thursday

Pay

• Starting Rate: $19.50
• Trained Rate: $22.25
• 2nd Shift will receive a shift premium of $1.50 on top of base hourly rate

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

• Receive product, stack product correctly on pallet in a timely manner.
• Place material in proper storage locations and secure in accordance with safe storage, stacking, or palletizing methods.
• Ensure EVA WIP area is clean, organized and stocked appropriately.
• Safely operate forklift and warehouse equipment at all times.
• Ability to interface with and use computer, scanner, shipping software, as well as a random automatic case sealer.
• Able to work a flexible schedule and as many as 12 hours in a day, including any of the shifts (day, evening, night and weekend).
• Prompt daily attendance at assigned work location.
• Requires skill and ability to work in the warehouse, storing/ pulling and checking in material.
• Locate and stage material for delivery by company truck or for pickup by customers.
• Consolidate, organize, and manage pallet storage on site. Stage and wrap Supplier boxes for return to the supplier.
• Periodically examine stored material and report any deterioration or damage.
• Maintain warehouse in a clean, orderly, and safe manner.
• Able to lift extremely heavy in rare instances (up to 80 pounds), awkward products to store in or remove from the warehouse, or load and unload onto a truck.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

• Minimum age requirement: 18 years old
• Eligibility to work in the United States
• Successful completion of a drug screening and background check
• Ability to thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment
• Punctuality in reporting for work to ensure smooth production startup
• Physical stamina and coordination, including the ability to stand, walk, bend, twist, reach, and lift up to 40 lbs on a regular basis
• Be able to successfully pass a Valid OSHA approved forklift certification (company training provided). Must be able to operate a forklift and hand jack.
• Experience operating a forklift preferred but not required.
