Job summary

Mini Melts of America is seeking a Warehouse Associate to support daily warehouse operations in a cold environment. You will pull orders, stock freezers and trailers, handle dry ice, and move large items with pallet jacks or forklifts.

Responsibilities include daily inventory, loading and unloading trucks, and completing paperwork to ensure accurate deliveries. Candidates should be able to work -40°F briefly, lift 50 lbs, and work 40+ hours weekly.

Qualifications

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Basic understanding of, or ability to quickly learn, company product codes and terminology.
• Thorough understanding of warehouse policies and procedures.
• Good analytical skills and ability to make sound judgments relative to inventory.

• Daily inventory counts of products, and weekly inventory counts of supplies.
• Assist in Loading & Unloading Trucks, Basic Shipping and Receiving. Filling out paperwork, to make sure deliveries are what they are supposed to be.
• Always working in pairs. When putting products away or pulling orders so that everything is verified.

Position Overview

We are looking for a Warehouse Associate for the Mini Melts Warehouse. This position is Monday - Friday (hours to be determined by the manager).

Job Description

• Pulling inventory to fill orders in onsite-built cardboard/styrofoam shipping containers.
• Stocking Walkin Freezers and Freezer Trailers with Daily Products.
• Handling Dry Ice Regularly.
• Moving large storage containers to and from packaging to the warehouse using an electric pallet jack and/ or a forkliftmultiple times per day.
• Daily inventory counts of products, and weekly inventory counts of supplies.
• Assist in Loading & Unloading Trucks, Basic Shipping and Receiving. Filling out paperwork, to make sure deliveries are what they are supposed to be. That any shortages or damages are documented.
• Always working in pairs. When putting products away or pulling orders so that everything is verified. Inventory is very important.
• Assisting where needed, this could be in different departments.

Job Requirements

• Working in -40 Temperatures up to 15 minutes at a time
• Ability to repeatedly lift 50 lbs
• Must have a valid driver’s license
• Ability to operate an electric pallet jack and a forklift
• Pre-employment background screening and drug test
• Ability to work at least 40 hrs per week, which may include some overtime at times
• Basic Math Skills
