Job summary

Wismettac Asian Foods, Inc is seeking a Warehouse Associate to help move products from receiving to delivery in a fast-paced environment. You will package finished products, stage items for loading, and prepare customer orders for delivery.

The role requires physical stamina, ability to lift over 50 pounds, operate pallet jacks, and follow instructions. Work schedule is Mon-Thu 11:00 AM - 8:00 PM, Fri 10:00 AM - 7:00 PM with overtime, and you’ll support multiple departments as needed.

Qualifications

  • Must be able to organize and prioritize tasks under time constraints.
  • Follow written and/or oral instructions.
  • Able to lift heavy objects over 50 pounds.
  • Read, speak, and write in English.
  • Physically strong, agile, and able to work in varying conditions.

Responsibilities

  • Package finished product for shipping (Shrink wrapping, boxing, labeling).
  • Stage finished product for loading.
  • Check purchase orders/work orders for correct assembly and delivery.
  • Check items to ensure correct quantity.
  • Assist in inventory maintenance and counts.
  • Load finished product onto the truck.
  • Unload products from trucks and stock in designated area.
  • Responsible for quality control to ensure no damaged products are sent or stored.
  • Operate pallet jack within standard operating procedures.
  • Perform preventive maintenance on pallet jacks.
  • Perform on-the-job training for new employees.
  • Handle inventory movement into/out of controlled locations.
  • Prepare customers’ orders for delivery.
  • Provide fill-in support for other departments in the warehouse.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Work Schedule: Monday thru Thursday 11:00 AM - 8:00 PM Friday 10:00 AM - 7:00 PM (with OT)
  • Package finished product for shipping (Shrink wrapping, boxing, labeling).
  • Stages finished product for loading.
  • Check purchase orders/ work orders to ensure that products are correctly assembled and ready for delivery.
  • Check items to ensure that the correct number of products are being assembled.
  • Assists in inventory level maintenance and inventory counts.
  • Load the finished product onto the truck.
  • Unload products from trucks, containers, and stock them in the designated area.
  • Responsible for quality control. Ensure that no damaged products are sent out, and no damaged products will be stored.
  • Operate pallet jack within standard operating procedures.
  • Perform preventive maintenance on palette jacks.
  • Perform on-the-job training for new employees.
  • Handle inventory movement into and out of controlled locations.
  • Prepare customers’ orders for delivery.
  • Provide fill-in support for other departments in the warehouse.
  • Other duties as assigned.
Knowledge, Skills and Ability:
  • Must be able to organize and prioritize numerous tasks and complete them under various time constraints
  • Knowledge of principles, practices, and procedures of the warehouse environment.
  • The incumbent should be able to follow written and/or oral instructions
  • Correctly follow a given rule or set of rules to arrange things or actions in a certain order;
  • Require considerable and strenuous physical exertion so incumbents should be able to lift heavy objects over 50 pounds.
  • Ability to operate material handler equipment proficiently.
  • Ability to read, speak, and write in English.
  • Physically strong, agile, dexterous, and undeterred by heights and adverse climatic conditions.
  • Positive work history and ability to maintain solid attendance.
  • Available to work extended hours.
