Job summary

CalfCare is seeking a Warehouse Associate to accurately prepare orders for shipments in a fast-paced warehouse environment. You will receive goods, verify counts, restock inventory, and process orders while coordinating with warehouse staff and field reps.

You may deliver orders on designated routes and assist other departments as needed. Must have a valid driver’s license and ability to lift up to 50 pounds.

Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• General understanding of animal husbandry, livestock (Helpful).
• Ability to work in a fast-paced warehouse environment.
• Ability to use navigation tools such as onboard GPS, smartphone apps, and/or web-based or physical maps to plan delivery routes.
• Ability to carry out a series of instructions without constant supervision.

Responsibilities

• Pick, pull, pack customer orders in a timely, efficient, accurate manner
• Receive goods and verify the quality and count of all items unloaded from trucks and trailers; report discrepancies and damages
• Restock supplies and inventory; communicate with Warehouse Manager on low stock
• Process orders in Computer Database- Fulfillment and Invoicing
• Transport materials on shipping dock with a hand truck, forklift or other vehicle as needed
• Occasionally deliver orders on designated delivery routes as demand requires

Position Overview

The Warehouse Associate is an integral part of the success of CalfCare. Due to the nature of the organization and our clients, this person will be responsible for accurately preparing orders for shipments. This is a fast-paced communication-heavy environment where changes and adjustments can happen without notice. This position will also be accepting incoming shipments and helping oversee the general organization of the warehouse. You will work closely with others in the warehouse, field reps, veterinarians, and the rest of the CalfCare team as well as CalfCare clients. You may be asked to help in other departments as needed.

Key Responsibilities

• Pick, pull, pack customer orders in a timely, efficient, accurate manner

• Restock supplies and inventory. Communicate with Warehouse Manager on low stock

• Transport materials on shipping dock with a hand truck, forklift or other vehicle as needed
• Occasionally deliver orders on designated delivery routes as demand requires

Physical Requirements

• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds regularly
• Must be able to load and unload packages without assistance in various types of weather
• Must be able to stand for extended periods of time (or sit during delivery routes)
