Job summary

QXO in Norman, Oklahoma is seeking a warehouse associate to support loading, unloading, and moving materials with forklifts and other heavy equipment. You will work outdoors in all weather conditions, verify orders, and maintain accurate inventory records while upholding safety protocols and PPE requirements.

You bring forklift experience or warehouse background, a customer‑first mindset, and reliable transportation with the ability to work early shifts.

Qualifications

• Experience operating forklifts and heavy equipment; warehouse experience preferred.
• Commitment to providing an outstanding experience to customers, vendors, and co-workers through effective verbal and written communication and a customer-first mindset.
• Spanish bilingual proficiency is a plus; reliable transportation and ability to regularly work early morning hours.

Responsibilities

• Operate forklifts and other heavy equipment to load, unload, and move materials.
• Work outdoors with exposure to all weather conditions.
• Verify order contents and maintain documentation (pick tickets, inventory count sheets).
• Inspect, organize, maintain, and track inventory.
• Demonstrate a daily commitment to safety and adhere diligently to all safety protocols, while always wearing appropriate PPE.
• Preserve safe and clean work environment which includes cleaning and painting.
