Job summary

TES Staffing is seeking a dependable Warehouse Associate to join a safety‑minded team in New York, NY. This full‑time, contract-to-hire role runs Monday through Friday, 7:30am–4:00pm, with a pay range of $17–$18 per hour.

No prior warehouse experience is required if you have a strong work ethic and basic material handling skills. You will load and unload freight, assist deliveries, operate forklifts and scanners, pick/pack orders, verify inventory, and maintain a clean, organized workspace.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• Basic warehouse or material handling experience is acceptable.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds during the day.
• Experience operating a forklift is preferred or willingness to learn.
• Basic computer skills and comfort using inventory systems.

Responsibilities

• Safely load and unload incoming and outgoing freight.
• Assist delivery drivers with scheduled deliveries.
• Operate warehouse equipment including forklifts and pallet jacks.
• Pick, pack, and prepare customer orders accurately.
• Receive shipments and verify inventory.
• Perform cycle counts and assist with physical inventory.
• Move materials throughout the warehouse using proper procedures.
• Identify and report damaged or missing products.

What You'll Do
