Job summary

White Cap is hiring immediately for a Dispatcher in New York, NY. You will plan delivery schedules, optimize routes, and resolve delivery issues with customers while ensuring invoices and loads are accurate before departure. You will also record vehicle times and maintain maintenance records.

Preferred candidates have 2–5 years of experience in the area and knowledge of the local geography; Spanish language skills are a plus.

Qualifications

• 2–5 years of experience in delivery/logistics coordination.
• Knowledge of the geographic area.
• Spanish language proficiency preferred.

Responsibilities

• Plans delivery schedules and optimizes delivery vehicle routes.
• Addresses delivery issues with customers and provides resolution.
• Ensures that the invoice and load are correct prior to departure.
• Records all in and out times of vehicles.
• Maintains vehicle maintenance and repair records.
• Records availability status of vehicles.
