Job summary

Sierra Forest Products is seeking a Warehouse Associate for the Day Shift at our Guilderland Center, NY facility. You will support loading, unloading, and stacking products, prepare orders for shipment, and ensure accurate inventory in our ERP system.

This full-time, onsite role requires a valid driver's license, forklift license, and the ability to lift up to 75 lbs. Prior forklift experience is preferred, and Lumber or panel experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid driver's license required.
• Forklift license required.
• Previous forklift experience required.
• Lumber or panel experience is an asset.
• Excellent customer service and ability to work in a team.
• Ability to lift, pull, and push approximately 75 lbs repetitively and safely.

Responsibilities

• Load, unload, move and stack products using a forklift.
• Prepare orders for shipment and ensure correct quantity and type loaded and shipped.
• Handle freight and secure loads per safety requirements.
• Tag, mark, or label stock items and store correctly.
• Manage inventory of shipping materials and supplies.
• Enter updated inventory into the ERP system.
• Report discrepancies in inventory to management.
• Maintain organized work area according to policies, and safety regulations.
