Position Summary

The Warehouse Associate is responsible for performing a range of general warehouse tasks including loading, unloading, stocking, inventory, labeling, and receiving. They contribute to the efficiency of warehouse operations by maintaining high safety and sanitation standards.

Responsibilities

1. Unload product from trucks and containers, and stock in designated areas.
2. Ensure proper placement of products on racks, shelves, or bins according to established practices.
3. Assemble customer orders from stock, and prepare for shipping.
4. Handle products in a sanitary manner.
5. Adhere to safety practices at all times.
6. Mark materials with identifying information.
7. Record amounts of materials received or distributed.
8. Arrange products in specified sequences for processing.
9. Operate forklifts or other motorized equipment to transport items.
10. Support inventory record maintenance.
11. Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor.

Minimum Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• One to two years of related experience in food production, preferably seafood.

Preferred Experience & Skills

• Strong work ethic with a sense of urgency for meeting deadlines.
• Ability to accurately pack products and lift 25-50 pounds regularly.
• Basic English speaking and writing proficiency.
• Basic arithmetic skills.
• Willingness to work in a cold environment.
