Door Works in Elmwood Park, NJ is seeking a dependable Warehouse Associate to join a high-energy team. You will receive, inspect, and unload shipments, store products, and pick/pack orders to support fast shipping and accuracy.

You’ll operate forklifts and pallet jacks, maintain inventory, and follow safety protocols. A high school diploma and basic computer skills are required; certification is a plus. This role emphasizes teamwork, reliability, and hands-on contribution.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience in warehouse operations or a similar role.
• Ability to operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and hand trucks (certification a plus).
• Physically able to lift and move heavy items.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Effective communication skills and a team-player mindset.
• Basic computer skills to support inventory tracking and order processing.
• Focus on safety and following warehouse protocols.

Responsibilities

• Receive, inspect, and unload incoming shipments; check for accuracy and damage.
• Sort, label, and store products in designated warehouse locations.
• Pick and pack customer orders with speed and accuracy.
• Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other equipment to move materials.
• Maintain accurate inventory by recording stock levels and adjustments.
• Conduct regular cycle counts and assist with inventory audits.
• Keep the warehouse clean, safe, and organized.
• Collaborate with your team to meet daily goals and shipping deadlines.
• Follow all safety protocols and wear PPE as required.
• Take on additional tasks as directed by the Warehouse Supervisor or General Manager.
