Job summary

The Perfumery in New Albany, IN is seeking an experienced Warehouse Associate to support order fulfillment and inventory management. The role requires safe forklift operation and familiarity with ERP systems to track materials and quantities.

You will prepare orders, assist with cycle counting, and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives in a growing, team-oriented environment with a Monday–Friday dayshift.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Minimum 2 years of forklift driving experience; walk-behind/scissor lift preferred but not required.
• Minimum 2 years of ERP system experience.
• Experience with Office 365 applications preferred.
• Ability to multitask with high attention to detail and collaborate cross departmentally.
• Must pass background check, drug test, and physical fitness assessment.

Responsibilities

• Prepare materials for order fulfillment and manage inventory movement both physically and virtually.
• Perform order fulfillment with accuracy and a sense of urgency.
• Conduct cycle counting to verify materials and quantities in the ERP system.
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives within the team.

Opportunity Description

We are looking for an experienced Warehouse Associatewho will primarily handle the order fulfillment process of the products we produce for our customers.This team member also plays a role in our inventory management system both virtually and physically as part of the fulfillment process. Thecareeropportunities at The Perfumery are tremendous as we maintaina high levelof focus on training and promoting internally to the role most suited for everyone on the team.

The Warehouse Associate role will play an emphasized role in:

• Preparing Materials for Order Fulfillment: As our business is experiencing rapid growth in sales, our success in production relies heavily on our ability to plan by gathering materials for future work to be completed. This, like the other responsibilities within this role, will require a solid understanding of our virtual and physical inventory movement processes as well as extensive experience safely using heavy machinery such as a forklift.
• Order Fulfillment: As a key player inmaintainingourCore Valuesof Quality with a Customer-Driven mindset, the Warehouse Associate is the backbone of our operations. This team memberis responsible forpreparing orders with both attention to detail and a sense ofurgency on the customer’s behalf. We pride ourselvesonourconsistentdelivery of a high-quality product that passes analytical testing,so the ability to follow standardized processeswith anattention to detail arekey markers of successin this role.
• Cycle Counting: Apart of this role will be following our cycle counting process to verify materials and quantities.This involves movement both physically(moving skidded material with a forklift, weighing, etc.)andvirtually withinour ERP system.Experience in an ERP system will be discussed in the interview andrequiredto move forward in potential employment.

Candidate Requirements/Preferences

• High school diploma or GEDrequired
• Minimum of 2 years of experience as a certified forklift driver. Experience with a walk-behind and scissor lift preferred but notrequired
• Minimum of 2 years of experience working in an ERP system
• Experience with Office 365 applications preferred
• Ability toefficientlymultitaskwithhighlydetailed work
• Ability toeffectivelycollaborate and communicatecross departmentally
