Job summary

Staffmark is seeking a Warehouse Associate to join our Mount Pleasant, SC team. You will load and unload furniture and freight, operate pallet jacks and forklifts as authorized, and help maintain accurate inventory in a fast-paced warehouse environment.

We offer weekly pay, solid benefits (medical, dental, vision, disability), 401(k) optional, and employee discounts. This role runs 6 AM-2:30 PM, Monday-Friday, with potential overtime as business needs require.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• At least 1 year of warehouse, distribution, shipping, receiving, or material handling experience preferred.
• Furniture warehouse or heavy product handling experience is a plus.
• Forklift certification or previous forklift experience is preferred.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced warehouse environment.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to workplace safety.
• Reliable attendance and willingness to work overtime as business demands require.
• Ability to lift up to 75 lbs regularly and up to 100 lbs with assistance.
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, reach, push, and pull throughout the shift.
• Physical stamina to perform repetitive lifting and material handling tasks.
• Strong teamwork, communication, and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload furniture, packages, and freight safely and efficiently.
• Lift, move, carry, stage, wrap, scan, and organize merchandise throughout the warehouse.
• Sort and prepare customer orders for shipping and distribution.
• Verify inventory quantities and assist with inventory control.
• Stage products for loading, delivery, and warehouse storage.
• Operate pallet jacks, forklifts, and other warehouse equipment safely (as authorized).
• Maintain accurate inventory and shipping records using warehouse scanners and documentation.
• Assist with receiving, stocking, and general warehouse operations.
• Keep work areas clean, organized, and compliant with warehouse safety standards.
• Support team members and complete additional warehouse duties as assigned.
