Job summary

Hackbarth Delivery Service, Inc is seeking a Warehouse Associate to join our logistics team in Montgomery. You will sort and organize shipments, operate pallet jacks and forklifts, and prepare outgoing orders to meet daily schedules.

The role emphasizes accuracy, safety, and teamwork; a background and drug screen are required. A high school diploma is needed, along with the ability to lift heavy objects and work in a fast-paced environment. Shifts run 3:30AM to 6:00AM, Monday through Friday.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• You must be able to submit to a background and drug screen.
• Previous warehouse experience is a plus but not required.
• Ability to lift heavy objects and stand for extended periods.
• Experience operating warehouse equipment is preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Team player with excellent communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
• Willingness to learn and adapt to changing priorities.

Responsibilities

• Receive incoming shipments and verify their contents.
• Sort and organize items based on size, weight, and destination.
• Safely operate warehouse equipment, including pallet jacks and forklifts.
• Prepare outgoing shipments, including packaging and labeling.
• Maintain a clean and organized workspace.
• Follow safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment.
• Assist in inventory management and cycle counting as needed.
• Collaborate with team members to meet daily productivity goals.
• Wrap Pallets
• Assist with cleaning the warehouse.
