Pay:

$18.00/hr

Position Summary

The Warehouse Associate performs various warehouse/distribution functions accurately and efficiently to ensure customer satisfaction. The role involves proficiency in at least one distribution activity such as receiving, stocking, order filling, packaging, or shipping. The position emphasizes safety, operational expertise, quality, and productivity.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

1. Perform warehouse duties including receiving, stocking, order filling, packaging, and shipping.
2. Receive, unload (using forklift, pallet jack, or manually), and verify incoming freight.
3. Verify quantities and condition of products, follow proper stocking procedures, and manage overstock.
4. Prioritize and fulfill orders accurately using warehouse equipment and routing to processing areas.
5. Pick, package, and label products correctly for shipping or distribution.
6. Ensure shipping orders match slips, select appropriate shipping lines, and load packages.
7. Address issues related to damages, shortages, inventory inaccuracies, or specifications.
8. Conduct cycle counts and maintain warehouse cleanliness and organization.
9. Perform other duties as assigned.

Education, Qualifications, Skills & Abilities

• High school diploma/GED and 1-2 years of material handling or warehouse experience.
• Ability to operate forklifts, rider reach trucks, stock pickers, or hand trucks; must pass forklift certification.
• Knowledge of Warehouse Management Software or Logistics Solutions is a plus.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, independently or in a team.
• Ability to read and interpret training instructions, shipping tickets, and manuals quickly.
• Lifting ability of up to 80 pounds, with frequent lifting of 40-60 pounds.
• Ability to stand and walk on concrete for 8-10 hours daily.
• Experience with RIF Scanner and basic computer skills; SAP knowledge is a plus.

Additional Information

Pay is $18.00/hr, based on factors like labor market, education, skills, experience, and certifications. Eligibility for an annual incentive bonus depends on organizational performance.
