Job summary

Enertech Global in Mitchell, SD is seeking a Warehouse Associate to perform shipping, receiving and material handling duties in a fast-paced warehouse environment. The role requires forklift certification, ERP experience, strong computer and communication skills, attention to detail, and reliable attendance.

You will load and unload trucks, manage barcodes, verify orders, and support ISO management systems while maintaining safety and quality.

• Check orders and incoming materials for damage; initiate freight claims if needed
• Organize stock in receiving warehouse and prepare shipments

Qualifications for Warehouse Associate

Ability to become a Forklift Driver and become certified in Enertech’s forklift training

Experience with Shipping & Receiving Systems, including Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) programs

Excellent Computer and Communication Skills

Possess Good Organizational Skills with attention to detail

Be Dependable, Self Motivated & be Team Orientated

Follows all Safety Guidelines set forth by company, including wearing PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) as required

Must be quality oriented and perform accurate work

Excellent attendance and punctuality with the ability to work overtime as needed while being dependable and responsible. Comes to work on time and does not use excessive leave, does not abuse lunch, break times, and/or PTO/attendance policies

Shipping will require average to excellent English-speaking skills

Required to verify identity and eligibility to work in the United States and complete an Employment Eligibility Verification, Form I-9. Enertech Global uses government database E-Verify to complete employment eligibility verification upon hire

Must successfully pass a pre-employment drug screen, pre-work screen, and physical based on physical requirements of position

Duties & Responsibilities for Warehouse Associate

Maintain inventory by utilizing mobile scanners & computer ERP database

Ability to make accurate stock moves/transfers in company ERP database

Print bar codes using scanners and other equipment as needed

Performs receiving & shipping functions by following established procedures

Complete all receiving & shipping paperwork accurately

Perform material handler duties as needed; retrieve & deliver materials to production line; pull cabinets for production line, remove items from production lines

Load and unload trucks using forklifts or other equipment

Check product orders

Check incoming materials for freight damage; initiate freight claims process if necessary

Organize and stock materials in receiving warehouse once bar-coded

Remove finished heat pumps from end of production line and put in racks in finished goods warehouse

Prepare and assemble shipments; packages, labels, and stages materials following established procedures including international shipments and orders

Perform quotes and schedules shipments for freight carriers

Ensure that products processed for shipping are delegated to correct courier

Process warranty claim shipments per procedure

Assist in keeping a clean and organized warehouse

Aware and support Management System Policy and Objectives for all ISO Management Systems (QMS, OHSM and EMS)

Continually work to improve our Management systems for all ISO Management Systems (QMS, OHSM, and EMS)
