Job description

Position Title: Warehouse Associate

Location: Minneapolis, Minnesota

Company: Spye, LLC & Greenway Solar Services LLC

Job Type: Full-Time

Hourly Rate: $20.00 - $25.00/hr

Job Summary:

The Warehouse Associate will be responsible for the efficient handling of inventory, tools, and equipment. This role involves receiving, storing, and distributing materials, as well as assisting with shipping logistics, maintaining inventory records, and supporting field installation teams. The ideal candidate is organized, proactive, and familiar with technical equipment handling.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Receive and inspect incoming shipments.
  • Accurately label, sort, and store inventory in designated locations.
  • Prepare materials, tools, and equipment for job sites and field crews.
  • Track inventory levels and notify supervisors of shortages or issues.
  • Conduct regular inventory counts and perform cycle counts.
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and organized warehouse environment.
  • Use warehouse equipment such as forklifts and pallet jacks (if certified).
  • Assist with loading and unloading delivery vehicles and other warehouse duties as needed.
  • Follow all company safety procedures and protocols.
  • Contribute ideas on ways to improve or optimize warehousing procedures.
  • Track and report tool usage and condition; ensure timely return and repair.
  • Coordinate with delivery drivers and vendors for efficient materials drop-off and pick-up.
  • Enter inventory and shipment data into the warehouse management system (WMS).
  • Authorized to work in the U.S. (No third-party applicants.)
  • Willing to obtain OSHA 10-hour safety certification.
  • OSHA-approved forklift certification preferred (or willingness to obtain upon hire).
  • Able to lift, carry, push, and pull up to 50 pounds.
  • Comfortable bending, climbing, squatting, reaching, and kneeling.
  • Willing to work overtime and outdoors in inclement weather.
  • Able to work at heights (roofs, ladders) and in confined spaces.

Additional Requirements
