Warehouse Associate

The Warehouse Associate position is responsible for performing various manufacturing and shipping tasks to help turn raw materials into finished products. Their duties may include operating machinery, assembling parts, inspecting products for quality assurance, and other activities related to production and shipping.

Responsibilities

● Operate machinery and equipment used in the manufacturing and shipping processes

● Assemble parts and components to create finished products

● Inspect products for defects and ensure they meet quality standards

● Follow safety rules and regulations to protect yourself and other workers from injury or death

● Maintain production schedules by monitoring inventory of raw materials needed at each stage of production

● Record data such as machine settings and production/labor statistics

● Communicate with the Warehouse Supervisor to identify areas for improvement in the manufacturing and shipping processes

● Participate in training programs to learn new skills and techniques

● Collaborate with other teams such as sales

● Assist with fulfilling orders and provide customer service for walk-in customers

● Following detailed instructions to accurately prep boxes for shipment

● Work well with others to efficiently put orders together

● Loading parts according to our company standards

● Inspect materials, products and manifests in the shipping process

● Transport product using hand carts, pallet jacks, forklift, pickers, etc.

● Shipping and receiving all packages, including accepting and signing for deliveries from distributors, organizing and planning outbound orders

● Maintaining and organizing shipping and packaging materials

● Scan packages and process shipments

Qualifications

● Excellent communication and organizational skills

● Ability to work in a fast-paced environment

● Prior manufacturing and shipping experience preferred

● Must be a team player who can work cross-functionally with other departments

● Mechanical skills to handle a variety of manufacturing tools and equipment

● Computer proficiency, the job requires daily use of multiple software applications

● Ability to physically pick up and move products up to 8-10 hours a day

● Willingness to achieve a solid understanding of the aftermarket automotive industry related to TOMS OFFROAD products or services
