Job summary

Amcor is seeking a dedicated warehouse associate to support daily operations in a fast-paced environment. You will move shipments, assemble orders, and ensure accurate receiving and storage of merchandise. A strong focus on safety and teamwork will help you succeed in this role.

Ideal candidates have 2–5 years in warehousing, the ability to lift up to 49 lbs, and aptitude with basic computer systems. This on-site role offers comprehensive benefits and career growth opportunities with Amcor.

Qualifications

  • 2-5 years' experience in a warehouse environment.
  • Able to read and comprehend work instructions and packaging specifications.
  • Able to communicate findings to a variety of audiences.

Responsibilities

  • Operate hand trucks and other warehouse equipment to move shipments.
  • Assemble finished goods and load shipments per SOPs.
  • Receive, inspect, and store merchandise or materials.
  • Print and pull warehouse transfers and orders.
  • Restock supplies and work with Production department.
  • Assist in training new employees.
  • Maintain housekeeping and safety standards.

Responsibilities
  • Work in a safe manner, following all safety rules and procedures.
  • Wear personal protective equipment as required.
  • Respond effectively in emergency situations.
  • Operates hand truck or various truck from our fleet of trucks (fork, reach, picker) to move or convey shipments.
  • Assembles finished goods. orders and loads shipments based on established standard operating procedures.
  • Prepares skids: straps, stretch wraps, weighs.
  • Receives incoming shipments based on established standard operating procedures.
  • Prints and pulls warehouse transfers and orders.
  • Receives, inspects and stores merchandise or materials.
  • Executes all aspects of shipping orders and receiving product from outside vendors.
  • Restocks corrugated and production's needs.
  • Works with Production department.
  • Assembles loads for other facilities as needed.
  • Housekeeping responsibilities.
  • Assists in training of new employees.
  • All other duties as assigned.
PEFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
  • 2-5 years' experience in a warehouse environment.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced team setting.
  • Ability to read and comprehend work instructions and packaging specifications.
  • Ability to effectively communicate and present findings to a wide variety of audiences.
  • Ability to frequently lift up to 35 lbs. and occasionally up to 49 lbs.
  • Ability to work at elevated heights.
  • Basic computer systems knowledge.
