• Receive shipments and verify merchandise against packing slips and POs.
• Unload, unpack, count, and inspect incoming goods for damage or discrepancies.
• Label, organize, and store received merchandise in warehouse locations.
• Pick, pack, and prepare merchandise for shipment to stores/customers.
• Verify outgoing shipments for accuracy before dispatch.
• Maintain accurate shipping and receiving records.
• Keep workspace clean, organized, and safe.

Warehouse Associate – Shipping & Receiving

Key Responsibilities

• Receive incoming shipments and verify merchandise against packing slips and purchase orders.
• Unload, unpack, count, and inspect incoming goods for accuracy and damage.
• Report shortages, overages, damages, and incorrect shipments promptly.
• Label, organize, and properly store received merchandise in designated warehouse locations.
• Pick, pack, and prepare merchandise for shipment to stores and customers.
• Verify all outgoing shipments for accuracy before they leave the warehouse.
• Process transfers, customer orders, returns, and other outgoing merchandise.
• Maintain accurate shipping and receiving records.
• Keep shipping, receiving, and storage areas clean, organized, and safe.
• Assist with inventory counts and help research inventory discrepancies.
• Follow established warehouse procedures to minimize errors, damages, and lost merchandise.
• Safely operate warehouse equipment and follow all safety procedures.
• Communicate effectively with warehouse leadership and other departments regarding shipment issues.
• Help maintain an efficient workflow and meet daily shipping and receiving deadlines.
• Assist with other warehouse duties as needed.
