Job summary

Staffmark Group in Lynchburg, TN is seeking a Warehouse Associate to keep products moving through picking, packing, shipping, receiving, and inventory tasks. The role offers 1st and 2nd rotating shifts with a pay rate of $17.86 per hour.

Candidates should have a high school diploma or GED and be comfortable operating pallet jacks, RF scanners, and related warehouse equipment in a safety-focused, fast-paced setting.

Responsibilities

Warehouse Associate

Location: Lynchburg, TN

Pay Rate: $17.86 per hour

Schedule: 1st and 2nd rotating Monday-Friday

Looking for Warehouse Associate jobs in Lynchburg where every day keeps products moving? This opportunity lets you support warehouse operations through picking, packing, shipping, receiving, and inventory handling while helping ensure orders are completed safely and accurately.

Job Duties

• Climbing up to 7 sets of steps to access multi-level floors of warehouse.
• Be able to access ricks in a 14 inch wide opening, work in tight spaces and manipulate barrel when stuck (2 person lift at times).
• Approximately 5-6 trucks hourly with 26 barrels per truck.
• 76lb push force when on rails, can increase to a 90lb push force at times when handling a full barrel or when barrel becomes lodged on rails.
• Work in a stooped posture while rolling barrel to destination.
• Requires a 20lb force with foot to initiate/continue rolling of barrel down metal railing.
• Mid-chest to shoulder level push required when barrel is placed on lift prior to rolling down incline.
• Barrel is pushed into machine to lower barrel to truck via 20lb force with foot.

Education Requirements

• Must have a high school diploma or GED.
• Previous warehouse, logistics, or distribution training is beneficial.

Experience Requirements

• Ability to safely perform warehouse duties including picking, packing, shipping, receiving, and inventory handling.
• Strong attention to detail with the ability to accurately identify products, labels, and shipping documentation.
• Ability to use pallet jacks, hand trucks, RF scanners, or other warehouse equipment as required.
• Good organizational skills and the ability to work efficiently in fast-paced warehouse environments.
• Commitment to workplace safety, teamwork, and dependable attendance.

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous warehouse, distribution center, fulfillment, manufacturing, or logistics experience is preferred.
• Experience operating forklifts or other powered industrial equipment is beneficial.
• Knowledge of warehouse management systems (WMS), inventory procedures, shipping software, or RF scanning equipment is considered an asset.
• Individuals who demonstrate reliability, adaptability, teamwork, and attention to detail are well positioned for success as a Warehouse Associate.

Physical Capabilities

• Ability to stand, walk, bend, reach, and perform repetitive warehouse tasks throughout the shift.
• Ability to safely work around warehouse equipment, conveyors, and moving inventory.
• Ability to maintain productivity while working in warehouse and distribution environments.
• Must be able to stand and walk for hour shift, have a 70-96lbs push force and 20lb kick force
