Job summary

Staffmark Group is hiring a Warehouse Associate in Raphine, VA. The role offers $16.00 per hour with a Monday–Thursday, 7:00 AM–5:00 PM schedule. You will support picking, packing, shipping, receiving, and inventory handling to ensure accurate and safe orders.

Requirements include a High School Diploma or GED, basic English, and basic math. Experience with RF scanners, pallet jacks, and hand trucks is helpful. Benefits include medical/dental/vision and a 401(k) option.

Responsibilities

• Perform labeling, sorting, wrapping, packing, or repacking as needed.
• Inspect completed loads for accuracy.
• Sign, date, and turn in load documents to the shipping office when completed.
• Identify damaged, lost, or missing products and notify warehouse leadership immediately.
• Maintain a clean, neat, and orderly work area.
• Professionally interact with warehouse management, personnel, customers, vendors, and other employees/guests.

• Good organizational skills and the ability to work efficiently in fast-paced warehouse environments.
• Commitment to workplace safety, teamwork, and dependable attendance.

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous warehouse, distribution center, fulfillment, manufacturing, or logistics experience is preferred.
• Experience operating forklifts or other powered industrial equipment is beneficial.
• Knowledge of warehouse management systems (WMS), inventory procedures, shipping software, or RF scanning equipment is considered an asset.
• Individuals who demonstrate reliability, adaptability, teamwork, and attention to detail are well positioned for success as a Warehouse Associate.

Physical Capabilities

• Ability to stand, sit, squat, crawl, bend, twist, and/or kneel for up to 12-hour periods Of time and repetitively
• Capability to navigate through narrow, confined spaces
• Work near or on top of sloping, uneven, and/or slippery surfaces
• Exposure to varying temperatures
• Possible exposure to areas with high noise levels that may require hearing protection
• Use hands and fingers to grasp, turn, and manipulate objects of varying sizes and weights.
• Ability to lift, push, pull, or carry heavy objects up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to safely work around warehouse equipment, conveyors, and moving inventory.
• Ability to maintain productivity while working in warehouse and distribution environments.
