Job summary

Chamberlain Group's Controlled Products Systems Group (CPSG) is hiring an Associate I, Warehouse, to perform standard warehouse tasks and support customers with order pickup and deliveries. This on-site role emphasizes safety, quality, and adherence to company standards in a distribution center.

The position requires 0–2 years of experience, a high school diploma or GED, and the ability to lift up to 50 pounds. Spanish is a plus and a valid driver's license is required.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Perform warehouse tasks following standard work and safety policies.
• Assist customers with order pickup and deliveries; provide basic customer service.
• Handle daily UPS shipments where applicable.
• Answer phone inquiries and assist with administrative duties.
• Maintain a clean and safe distribution center environment.
• Operate warehouse equipment safely and efficiently.
• Suggest process improvements to optimize operations.
• Participate in continuous improvement events.
• Notify supervisor of deviations to enable timely corrections.
• Report equipment/infrastructure damage to minimize safety risk.
• Work on-site with assigned shift hours and overtime as needed.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety guidelines.

Associate I, Warehouse Overview

• Perform assigned warehouse tasks utilizing standard work and policies in order to ensure highest levels of safety and quality
• Assist customers with order pickup; complete deliveries of inventory to customer locations; may provide basic customer service functions
• May process UPS shipments daily in some locations
• Assist with handling incoming telephone inquiries, and other administrative duties as requested
• Acquire knowledge regarding a clean and safe working environment, safety, security, company standards in the distribution center
• Operate warehouse equipment in a safe and efficient manner in order ensure little to no accidents
• Contribute process suggestions in order to continuously improve warehouse operations
• Fully contribute in continuous improvement events to improve operations
• Identify deviations in the process and immediately notify supervisor in order to correct issue
• Report company equipment and infrastructure damage to ensure repairs occur in order to minimize safety risk
• This position requires regular and predictable on-site attendance and the ability to work the particular shift and/or schedule to which you are assigned, as well as additional hours as needed
• Comply with health and safety guidelines and rules; managers should also ensure compliance across their teams
• Protect CPSG’s reputation by keeping information confidential
• Maintain professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops, professional publications, establishing personal networks, and participating in professional societies

Associate I, Warehouse Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED Equivalent
• 0-2 years of relevant work experience
• Ability to Read and Write in English
• Valid driver’s license
• Preferred Qualifications: Proficiency in Spanish
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and push/pull up to 100 pounds
• Ability to stand, walk, and sit up
• Ability to use hand to finger, handle, or feel
• Ability to climb or balance
• Ability to stoop, kneel, bend, crouch, or crawl
• Ability to reach with hands and arms
• Ability to talk or hear

The pay range for this position is $22.45 - $34.28/hr. Base pay offered may vary depending on a number of factors including, but not limited to, the position offered, location, education, training, and/or experience. In addition to base pay, also offered is a comprehensive benefits package and 401k contribution (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements). This position is eligible for participation in a short-term incentive plan subject to the terms of the applicable plans and policies.
