Job summary

Controlled Products Systems Group (CPSG) is seeking an Associate II, Warehouse to join our on-site team in Charlotte, NC. The role focuses on safety, inventory integrity, and customer support, handling order pickups, deliveries, and basic product modifications.

You will oversee outbound shipments, operate warehouse equipment safely, contribute to process improvements, and maintain a clean, compliant workplace while following health and safety guidelines.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Forklift Certification required.
• 3+ years in a high-volume warehouse.
• Ability to read and write in English.
• Valid driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Perform warehouse tasks using standard work to ensure safety and quality.
• Assist customers with order pickup and deliver inventory to customer locations.
• Handle basic modifications to customer products per requirements.
• Oversee outbound shipment processes.
• Answer telephone inquiries and perform admin duties as requested.
• Maintain a clean, safe working environment and follow safety standards.
• Operate warehouse equipment safely to minimize accidents.
• Contribute to process improvements in warehouse operations.
• Identify process deviations and notify supervisor to correct issues.
• Report equipment and infrastructure damage to enable repairs.
• Maintain on-site attendance and work assigned shifts, with overtime as needed.
• Comply with health and safety guidelines; managers ensure team compliance.
• Protect CPSG's reputation and keep information confidential.
• Stay updated with professional knowledge through trainings and networks.
• Contribute to team goals and participate in projects.

Associate II, Warehouse Overview

• Perform all warehouse tasks utilizing standard work and policies in order to ensure highest levels of safety and quality
• Assist customers with order pickup; complete deliveries of inventory to customer locations; provide basic customer service functions
• May perform basic modifications to parts of customer products per specified requirements
• Oversight of outbound shipment processes
• Assist with handling incoming telephone inquiries, and other administrative duties as requested
• Ensure a clean and safe working environment as well as the safety and security of all employees by following all safety and company standards
• Operate warehouse equipment in a safe and efficient manner in order ensure little to no accidents
• Contribute and implement process suggestions in order to continuously improve warehouse operations
• Identify deviations in the process and immediately notify supervisor in order to correct issue
• Report company equipment and infrastructure damage to ensure repairs occur in order to minimize safety risk
• This position requires regular and predictable on-site attendance and the ability to work the particular shift and/or schedule to which you are assigned, as well as additional hours as needed
• Comply with health and safety guidelines and rules; managers should also ensure compliance across their teams
• Protect CPSG’s reputation by keeping information confidential
• Maintain professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops, professional publications, establishing personal networks, and participating in professional societies
• Contribute to the team effort by accomplishing related results and participating on projects as needed

Associate II, Warehouse Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED Equivalent
• Forklift Certification
• 3+ years in a high volume warehouse environment
• Ability to Read and Write in English
• Valid driver's license

Preferred Qualifications

• Prior welding/torch experience
• Proficiency in Spanish
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and push/pull up to 100 pounds

The pay range for this position is $19.04 - $29.06/hr. Base pay offered may vary depending on a number of factors including, but not limited to, the position offered, location, education, training, and/or experience.

In addition to base pay, also offered is a comprehensive benefits package and 401k contribution (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements). This position is eligible for participation in a short-term incentive plan subject to the terms of the applicable plans and policies.
